You can be prepared to save someone from choking, to give lifesaving breaths to a person in need, or to perform needed chest compressions during a cardiac arrest. Join us for any of these classes, and learn how you can respond to infants, children, or adults in distress. Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - AdultOur most popular class will teach you how to administer CPR and First Aid and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). You'll learn how to handle emergency situations, take basic precautions to prevent disease transmission, care for injuries or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives, help someone in breathing and cardiac emergencies, administer chest compressions and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This class also teaches you to care for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness, shock and injury. All participants receive a CPR/AED skills card, First Aid skills card and participant's manual. Target Audience: Any individual who wants or needs first aid and adult CPR/AED training; employers seeking OSHA compliance in a 1-day training session. (Note: Additional classes are offered at Marana Parks and Recreation. Contact them for class availability.) This class offers a 1-year Adult CPR/AED Certification, 3-year First Aid Certification. Course covers basic precautions for preventing disease transmission. This class does not teach First Aid. All participants receive an Adult CPR skill card and participant's manual. Please see full course description above. You must bring your current certification card to class. Bring your current certification card, participant manual and skillcard to class. If you no longer have your participant manual or skillcard, you may purchase them at our office. Prerequisite: Current Adult CPR certification. Target Audience: Any individual who is currently certified in Adult CPR. This class offers a 1-year Adult CPR Certification. Cost: $27.00. Need-based scholarships are available; find out if you qualify. CPR - Child & InfantLearn how to administer CPR for children ages 1-12 and infants 0-1. You'll learn how to handle emergency situations, take basic precautions to prevent disease transmission, help a child in breathing and cardiac emergencies, and administer chest compressions. This class does not teach the use of an AED. This class does not teach First Aid. All participants receive the Infant Child CPR skill card and participant's manual. CPR - Child & Infant ReviewRenew your current certification and brush up on your CPR/AED skills! Shortened for your ease in renewing your certification, you’ll refresh your skills and learn all of the newest techniques to save the life of an infant or child under the age of 12. Bring your current certification card to class. Target Audience: Any individual who is currently certified in Infant & Child CPR. This class offers a 1-year Infant & Child CPR Certification. CPR Made SimpleThe NEW American Red Cross CPR Made Simple non-certified course provides individuals with a one-hour overview of the critical skills that may help them save the life of a family member, friend or co-worker. In this simplified training, lecture is kept to a minimum so that participants can focus on hands-on practice of CPR/AED skills.
Sign up for this low-cost option and learn the basics of CPR in only one hour!Prerequisite: None. Target Audience: Any adult who wants an easy way to learn the basics of CPR/AED and does not need certification for their employment or school. Cost: $10.00 for one person. First AidIn this class, you'll learn how to handle emergency situations and administer basic care for injuries or sudden illness until advanced medical care can take over. First Aid teaches you to take basic disease transmission precautions, recognize and care for bleeding, wounds, and sudden illness, and immobilize muscle, bone and joint injuries. This class does not include information on breathing or cardiac emergencies, CPR or AED. Meets OSHA guidelines for First Aid. All participants receive a First Aid Skills card and participant's manual. Target Audience: Business and industry employees or individuals who want or need basic first aid skills without training in CPR. This class offers a 3-year First Aid Certification. Cost: $35.00.
